(Fox News) Police: 9 dead after shooting between biker gangs in Texas
The Cossacks, Banditos and the Scimitars do not ride Diavels.
They are simply not cool enough to make those decisions, opting for the traditional, rough riding, slow, clunky, and very overpriced Harley Davidson motorcycles. This has led some in law enforcement to opine that the choice of machines led to their dissatisfaction with life - and ultimately to a shoot-out at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas. They could have made the choice to attend one of the Lone Star Parson's sermons in neighboring Hillsboro, in turn, leading to a meal of quiet contemplation that began with a word of prayer.

Below: Cuts from the Hessians (West Coast) and Snake Eaters (Florida) - from my young and tempetous past.
We get the odd biker that tips up off the highway on his Harley. Haven't seen any Colors yet, but that'll change pretty soon.
ReplyDeleteI've heard that the Hessians used to call their clubhouse "the church." So there's precedent.
But LL, you might have to keep order in the ranks when the Missions become "destination churches" for your motorcyclist friends.
They fear the Diavel (Devil)!!!
DeleteClunky? Over-priced? Yeah, maybe you're right. Seems to me, however, that this little kerfuffle in Waco was right up your alley, LL: a whole lotta bikes, a whole lotta ordinace, and a whole lotta 'tude.
Delete(also commented this on the Reverend's site). Didn't know that you eschewed Harley's, though. Most bike guys like the old, clunky over-priced pieces o' shit.
I hold a grudging respect for Harley Davidson motorcycles. They are clunky, they are over priced but there is a nostalgic sense that comes with them, I guess.
DeleteI'm more of an Indian guy, myself. No, not the new piece of garbage Indians they make now, the ones back in the 1930's. Now THAT was a motorcycle.
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves the old Indians. They're like knucklehead Harleys. And speaking of knuckleheads, I'm looking for one to restore.
