A Basic Question

Is it OK to sit on another man's motorcycle?

Not ever.

We had a bit of a problem with a moron who was getting his fingerprints on the Diavel while I was in the store at the gas station. I don't have photos, but you get the point.

Women can ride on the back, but they need an invitation.

  1. It is definitely taboo to touch another man's motorcycle, much less sit on it. And even to look at another man's bike, the rule of thumb is that the looker must stand farther away than an arm's length. Anything less, and that's too close.

    1. There are some jujitsu moves with fingers that the moron learned. No blood, it made me look as if I wasn't hurting him but he was in a great deal of pain. That's it. He didn't sit on the bike.

    1. Since the "woman of the year" is a 65 year old guy (with courting tackle intact), I think that the odds of Suzie Wong being really wong have increased.

  4. One of the early teachings to my daughters, "don't touch a man's bike". Look from a distance.

    1. It's right up there with "though shalt not kill". In fact, the two commandments are inexorably linked...

  5. !!! I'm alarmed that I didn't know this until now. I feel humbled by how often I've apparently been forgiven for this faux pas!
